The retreat was awesome! God worked in all of the women's lives and mine too. The overwhelming joy and peace I felt was amazing. He is so faithful!

Olivia had a good time on her retreat also, but she came home sick. She stayed out of school until yesterday. I seem to have a little of whatever it is too.

Jacob started preschool on Monday. Today we will meet with the director and see how he has been doing. He seems to be excited to go and be with his friends. It has been nice for us to have some extra time to do things which have been put on the back burner.

Sandra was told that they will finish school early than expected so that they can use their free time to work on the 400 drawings that are due for next year. This year they only had to do 200 and she along with her classmates spent many a sleepless night. She had to have this years' drawings put into a bound book, although I'm still not certain what that is to be used for unless you could show it on an interview. Mid-October through November she is going to work at a small school close to the house to help with their vacation courses.

Dora gave notice at her job three weeks ago, and last Friday was her last day. She had originally asked for less hours during the week to allow her study time, but the lady she was working for would only give her ½ hour every day. With Dora's learning disability she needs focused study time, so it is best for her to have a part-time job that is closer to home.

Yoba still has a few weeks of school to go. She is taking exams now, and we are praying for wisdom to finish strongly.

Next week we will start our weekly meetings with the ladies from the retreat. A lot of Christians here don't know how to study the Bible, so that will be a majority of the focus for these sessions. Jan left them with a lot of tools for spiritual battles during retreat, for which they were grateful.

The young boys' therapy program will begin the 4th week of October. I am excited to meet them!

In His hands,

Aimee
